There will be no class tonight folks. Please work from home on your project and we will critique it on Monday. I will be giving my lecture on recipe for successful design and on mind-mapping. This is a big lecture, so I will be posting lecture notes for this on Sunday. Please be prepared to answer questions by reading the blog notes and doing some self study on mindmapping.

Blog question for the weekend.

What is a mind-map?

Also, there are some really good responses so far on the first two post questions. Keep up the good work and remember that you can respond to anothers persons post and that is what makes it so fun.

Have a great weekend.

A mind-map is a graphical representation of ideas that can lead to a whole concept.

I agree with April... in addition though, i think it is necessary to always visualize your mind-map before creating any work of art or desing. By doing this you have a basic organized idea to go forward.

I think i'd be afraid to see a map of all the stuff bouncing around my mind! I suppose a mind map is a way to organize thoughts that makes sense to a designer/artist like an outline for a writer.
